Never did hear what happened to the Boyd business? Guess it folded then did it? First glance that looks a sharp website but there's not much content on there that works All the guys at Boyds deserve the best of luck as I guess they got nothing at the end of it.............

They probably cant afford to take all the guys on as they have only just started up. Would be good to see them all together again.

What, no room for Blue Bear

Mike Curtis was often seen on Overhaulin', doing his speciality wheels. Mind you, that did cost him his job with Boyd

Charley Hutton was one of the nicest guys there, and has also been on Overhaulin' painting to perfection.

I always thought that to - he just came across as totally unreasonable and difficult. That said I am always skeptical on how these shows are cut together to portray different characters and situations. Nonetheless a lot fo the guys on the show seemed very nice.

There was a lot of bad blood between Boyd and Chip, Charlie wanted to work with Chip on one car IIRC because he said he was fed up with the short deadlines and corners being cut all the time on their builds, Boyd didnt want him to do it so he left, Mike followed him not long after.

You wonder how much editing goes into making a charector, i always figued Duane couldnt be that bad at man management?!

about the only watchable soap opera - the really good guys seemed to go to Chip Foose.

The thing that amazed me was just how much filler they put on those cars - you'd have to be really careful how you stored them.

That always surprised me as well. I've been watching all the re-runs lately and virtually every car was covered in it. I appreciate that a lot of it is a thin layer to get rid of imperfections but when you've got a whole team of fabricators seems a bit strange.
