I know a lot of people do it but I think drilling headlamps can be tricky....You only get one chance. If you dont place the bulb right it can affect the beam pattern and prevent satisfactory alignment for SVA!

Other option is to ether use the front fogs for sidlights (by swapping bulbs and re-wiring) or drill the front fogs to act as both side and front fog!!

    Just a thought

    side light

    Hi

The 05 mustang that I have seen has had side light bulbs put in the top of lamp but the problem they have is condinsation ingress where it wasnt sealed properly so head lamp is misting up. I didn't think it looked very good either.

If you can take the lamp out and put side light bulb to one side of head light bulb it would look better just try and make it easy acessable to change bulb when necessary.
