    New to Mustangs HELP

    • Hi everyone I am new here.
I am looking buying a 2005 GT350 4L Shelby Limited Edition. Can anyone offer any advice? I've wanted a Mustang for ages. How can I find out what the car is worth?
Any help or advice is appreciated.
      Thanks, Anna

Hello and welcome, I have seen that car listed for sale and Iím so pleased you came here first. That car is ultimately a standard V6 mustang. The Shelby GR350 part is fictional, itís just a dress up kit. Ford did not produce a GT350 through the s197 production.

what are you looking for in a mustang? Iím sure we can steer you in the right direction.

Iíve just refreshed my mind on the listing, itís a base V6 with plastic door cards, 4 gauge dial, all black plastic, plastic steering wheel and the radio buttons are worn off. In my opinion this car is being listed at double itís true value, Iím more than happy to be corrected though.

the rear spoiler is aftermarket, as are the stripes, exhaust, badges, anything relating to Carol Shelby and wheels.

H thanks so much for taking the time to reply, the one I looked at is below. I simply like Mustangs but don't really know the specs or what they should cost.

What are you honest thoughts on the one below? Be brutally honest please.

Looks like a bog standard v6 with a lot of stick on tat.
My advice would be to start a new thread with your budget and spec you like and go from there.
Unless you have a ton of money which you can afford to throw away then my advice would be not to buy it.

I agree with anaconda. Do you want a V8 or V6?

Thanks.... Well I only spotted that one and liked the look of it. I guess I'd love a V8.... But might look at a newer one now to use as my every day car instead.... Would consider a 2.3eb?

That V6 does the same mpg as a V8 so no need to get a 2 litre mustang

Had a bad experience with that dealer and would advise to avoid regardless of other comments on that specific car.
