Anyone Have a Friendly Ford Parts Dealer in the US?

I need to get a new boot latch for my 2010 GT, but even having the Part No. leads to some confusion on online parts stores. Loathed to shell out on shipping and end up with the wrong one :(

Do we have a friendly dealer who will ship?

    Thanks!

Tasca will ship . Try Ebay to see if someone is breaking one if you haven't already.

I always got dealer parts from www.partscheap.com which is actually a Ford Main Dealer. Your locking fuel cap and "Ford Racing" exhaust back boxes came from there if they're still on it Gerry.

Looks like up to 2010 the design changed a couple of times, maybe just adding the emergency pull, but from 2010 to 2014 it's the same for Coupe.
Convertible is a variant as they have a secret release between the seats (damn it's not a secret anymore) and not the plastic handle that Coupes have.

All S197 Coupes had the emergency pull, my '05 did, legal requirement in America. Exported Jags of that age have them too.

            Cheers Chaps!

Cheers Dave, ordered from Tasca. I did try partscheap (had bought from them on your recommendation before, Geoff) but they seem to have disappeared/ been bought out.

These latches have a short lifespan, depending on how often you use the boot! There is a bit of plastic inside that wears out - you know because the electric release makes a horrible grinding noise. I replaced it the first time with a used one, but of course that only lasted a couple of years as it would have already been worn

            So brand new this time!

            Thanks

            Gerry

It's what it's always been but no worries. Wittmeier Auto Center
