    Carcoon 2011 S197

I am still looking into ways to protect a 2011 S197 during the winter months, at the moment it's under a cover but for next year I wanted something better. Had plans for a garage but that's not an option now, anyway have been looking at the Outdoor Carcoon, tried emailing the company but have failed to get a reply.

The website gives the sizes but the S197 has a width of 81" / 206cm, the largest width on the website is 200cm / 78" so technically I am 3" short on the width.

Anyone used one to store a S197 (which I think is a size 5) I am guessing must be some leeway for when it inflates to cover the wing mirrors, found some threads on storing classic Mustangs but missed seeing anything for the S197.

Used them a lot (indoor type), they inflate out around the mirror area. A friend has several outdoor type over many years, they are just double skinned. He swears by them, not affected by wind and snow.

They really work by mitigating our temperate climate, you don't get all that condensation on a cold vehicle when a warm weather front rolls in.

I bought a carcoon I’ve only used it once think its size 5 it fits my 2007 s197 PM me if your interested

They are brilliant, Have had one for several years. Really good, Snow, sleet, rain, wind, no problem.

Their communications are crap. I just bought an indoor one from them, it was a chore. Give them a call.
