    First UK Bullitt Mustang?

    Hi all,
Iíve been told that Iíve got the first UK Bullitt to be handed over !
Iíve had the car over a year now . Itís Bullitt no K0812 and I just wondered if anyone has an earlier UK serial number ?
    Regards
    Colin

You may not be. According to the International Mustang Bullitt Owners Club (IMBOC, who have a forum similar to this and a Facebook page too) there is K0479 registered to someone in Scotland. That's not to say it wasn't delivered after yours. To put your car on the registry, you need to join first which is free. They do take time to add to the registry though as I found out with my '08 Bullitt.
I've found the two IMBOC sites and also the Mustang Bullitt Owners and Friends Facebook group to be very useful and informative.

If you're looking for firsts, there's a few to consider.
Lowest VIN number for a Bullitt
        Lowest Bullitt number
Date of arrival in the U.K
        Date of first registration
Date of first use, maybe by a dealer.

Ford don't build Mustangs in VIN number sequence, so they probably didn't build Bullitts in sequence either.
But as ACD1T has said, yours MAY have been the first handed over to a customer

Hadn't seen one in the flesh until yesterday. Visited Gates Harlow yesterday, (looking for a Fiesta for my son who got rear ended last week and his Corsa will get written off - fortunately he's OK), and saw one up the back covered in filth. Still looked nice. The another, then another, then another .... Said to the wife, they should clean them up and then get one in the showroom. The we go in the showroom and they have another one ! The paint is beautiful. Apparently all 5 arrived at the same time. 4 are sold but one is available. Numbers weren't that good for me and the recaros weren't as good for me personally as I'd want. They also lose the heated and cooled function and I need the heat so won't be buying one, but I must admit to paying a bit of attention to the other facelifted one they have in the showroom.

I love the new instrument cluster and some other bits so I'm on the brink of placing an order ....

Here's a photo of yours at Brooklands this year. One of your fellow members and I went up to the banking for a photo too.
