Not for those of a nervous disposition

Please do, there was another film with a couple of Mustangs, about the main young woman who got sucked into the “Manson Family”,
She leaves home in a Plymouth which breaks down so tries to hitch a lift and a Mustang fastback burbles by.
Then ensconced with the drug ravaged Charlie and his followers Linda (her name is)and one of the cohorts steal a suicide doored Lincoln by the Cohort distracting its owner in a bar and Linda grabbing the cars keys.

They also steal her husbands money and he turns up at the Ranch wherein the Family commune, in a Mustang convertible but is soon forced to leave.

Then after Manson kills a Black dealer his sidekick is coherced into murdering the record producer who couldnt get a recording deal for Manson but the phsycotic Head Case, they also have beachboy Wilson on their hit list, even though at one time they are at his home, as to he having led Manson to believe he had promised him fame and fortune too.
The sidekick also steals the murdered characters car, a Hillman Minx, yes and there is one of those in a scene from the Graduate, and gets arrested in it.

However randomly the Family are directed to the luxury home x of the Record producer which belonged to Roman Polanski and the horribly gory slaughter of his wife Sharon and some of their innocent friends.

In that and another random carnage spree a Buick Wildcat is used however I saw another BiOpic in which the fated Linda drives a Ford Galaxy.

That was a more incisive and chilling insite ( with more graffic scenes)into how the Hippy Chick got so embroyled.

I recal the shock on this side of the Atlantic after all that summer of Love , Peace Love etc, and the following year I was visiting the States regularly as a deckhand, on a Passenger Liner wowed by all the wonderous American cars that made the Jap and European ones seem like toys in comparison.

There were some very tasty motors in the Antipodes, inc The Ford Falcon with the Hypo Mustang motor, I had a ride in a less powerfull version, a Taxi but the driver still smoked the tyres away from the traffic lights after making comment about our Quaint Black Cabs.
