    Son's first car

I decided the Triumph Spitfire wasn't the car for my son so I decided to take the plunge on this. It's a 1965 C code Mustang with a factory fitted 4 speed. I know what your thinking and yes your correct, it needs a good polish to bring it up to scratch ;)) This will be a father and son project with my son doing his fair share of the work. You never know, it may be worth something when i'm dead and gone lol. The car will be going back to it's original champagne paint with white interior but I may upgrade the steering to R&P and power disc brakes and some nice wheels but will also keep the originals.

I must admit although the car will be at home i'm quite looking forward to working with my son (he's 12 years old)

    Phil

    That's PEACHY MATE!!

If you paint it champagne and keep those seats white it'll be verrry cool.. but then I might be biased on that colour scheme ;)!

Fantastic, although I have noticed it will require T-Cut on the front o/s wing .. .

All the very best ! :)

I'm not sure when it'll be here. My contact in the U.S is going to get it rolling first and i've briefed Ron (STS Imports) about the car so in time i'll be asking him to arrange the transport. I imagine within the next 8 - 10 weeks.

Time frame. Lets say I expect 4 years of evenings and weekends but it'll be nice if he goes to his school leaving prom in it with me driving ;))

Apparently, the rockers and front and rear frame rails are in good shape, the car has no sag but does need replacement floors, rear quarters and door skins.

I'll more than likely run a build thread on here if anybody is interested.
