    Recommended garages in South London/Surrey

    Hi all,

Anyone know of any mustang specialists in the south?

Mine is in need of a service, and possibly the Roush charger needs seeing to.

Advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Really you do need to visit someone with experience on super charged cars. I am sure there is others but the following spring to mind.

Hi Adil, I live in the same area and unfortunately there isn't much choice for classic muscle cars. I know the Mustang workshop in Hook comes recommended but too long for an appointment when i've tried.

I've used Renaissance cars near Ripley www.renaissance-classics.co.uk for another car I own and noticed they had a Mustang being worked on in there so it's always at the back of my mind. I've used www.newgenerationcars.co.uk/ in Wimbledon before, they seemed really good to me and have a range of classics in there all the time. Otherwise its a drive like being suggested above, I take mine to Mustang Maniac whenever something needs doing - opposite side of London to me but worth it every time.

Thank you all - well appreciated!

A gentleman by the name of Roo recommended a garage called Fully Equipped, and a tech named Kevin - it seems they are who performed all the upgrades on my car all those years ago.

From my research it seems Redline may be associated with this garage. I’ll give them a call to confirm.

Will likely send it to them for the work it needs :)

                    Kind regards,

                    Adil

Kevin has retired but the garage is still own by Mike Thompson re Redline American Muscle based in Kent.

Mike looks after my 1964.5 convertible and I have never had any issues with the servicing or the price. Mike advises what needs looking at the next time the car is due a visit which gives me the chance to get the parts which he will happily fit. Has a good Facebook page which shows the cars he has been working on during the week.

                            Thanks Geoff,

From what I understand, it was Kevin who carried out the work on my Mustang.

What a shame that he has now retired. Does anyone know if he still does some work on the side?

Am also interested in hearing feedback of those that have used Redline since Kevin retired.

                            Best
