    Sprintbooster

Just curious, a friend has fitted one to his AMG, any point in fitting one to a 5.0 GT ?

It doesn't do anything but adjust the throttle input they say it takes out lag but all it does is digitally adjust your inputs to the throttle either faster or slower depending on mode so for example a slight press of throttle is much quicker and more after adjustment giving the impression of more power and response

This sounds like programming radio control transmitters with "exponential". Instead of a linear response between the throttle and the engine one can get initially more input at the engine for initial movements of the peddle but this then backs out so that at 100% throttle pedal movement there is 100% throttle on the engine. Its not a performance enhancer. On radio control transmitters they can be programmed the other way also. On a car this would give a softer throttle feel.

On a Mustang it just means your back wheels spin sooner than they would have without it
And then it'll be fighting with the traction control, assuming it's on.
