exhaust manifold gasket

390 FE, burnt gasket because the bolts were loose, now sounds like a pro-mod.
Tightened em back up as a temp measure, here's the question can I change the gaskets with the engine in, or is it engine out? I know its going to be a case of no skin left on the back of me hands, but it will grow back.

yes you can change them as they are but its very tight in there.javed
