        See here:

David Kee's site has some info, also see toploaderheaven.

The big input shaft is not essential unless you put slicks on it or stroke the 429 so you can use the more common box from small block cars.

I swapped a 429 in front of my existing wide ratio, small input toploader. I have a Hays aluminium flywheel, same size also fits the earlier big blocks so not too rare. I run a Lakewood bellhousing and the stock 351C clutch fork. I have a HD Hays clutch. The only part I couldn't buy was the bellhousing mounted trunnion that supports the clutch linkage, I fabricated mine which was not difficult.

It's survived about 25 passes on the dragstrip so far.

You need to trim the small input down if you use it
