Just did some research
I was told the reason premium Fuel didn’t have Ethanol was because it lowered octane. As you said it does the
opposite
But for whatever reason it seems to say premium fuel has less octane...

My concourse restorer friend of over thirty years says Ethanol destroys fuel tanks and damages carbs. He is at the coal face and that’s what he says. He always has told me to put in premium fuel as the Higher octane fuels don’t contain any Ethanol as it lowers octane
