    Jade Black

Is there any european equivalent to Jade Black paint?

My painter is having trouble sourcing the correct colour from his supplier. Apparently the code I gave him, C5 does not translate very well.

Any euro equivalent or do I need to source the paint from the US??

No you don't need to source it from the USA. Certainly Sikkens will do it here.

Remember all modern metallics are a clear over base system so will not replicate the original 60's metallics which used to come in about 20 shades anyway!

You can cross reference your colour black jade here, also see the actual colour on example mustangs.C is the colour for black jade, 5 is the year, but I think black jade came out in 69, so posible should be C9? I think toyota/lexus do a jade black?

The C5 on the data tag will relate to the colour (i.e. C) and then 5 stands for the matt black hood treatment. For examply Y5 is Indian Fire with Matt Black Hood etc

You will need to do a search for the Ford Black Jade colour and find a paint code, the data tag colour code is very different than a paint code generally needed for them to look up the exact paint mix.

Decent pictures of a Black Jade Car

Seems there's lots of pictures of "Black Jade" mustangs, but this looks the closest to the colour we're putting on my car.

Some of the cars on that site are just gorgeous - sadly with prices to match!
