    Back!

Well, am officially back into Mustang ownership.

Picked up my new Race Red GT Shadow Edition from Milton Keynes (Evans Halshaw) on Saturday. My goodness am I impressed so far! Firstly will say the Marcus at Milton Keynes was absolutely great, really helpful (which was a revelation after dealing with some of the dealerships), I would truly recommend him!

Drive back to Sussex was mostly 50/60 average speed camera stuff on the M1/M25 and we hit 30MPG! (not why I bought it but nice/impressive to know it can do it!)

Get's great attention wherever it goes, dropped the little one off at nursery earlier today too so it's practical as well.....ahem!

Good to see you back in a Mustang John.
Whatever happened to the cafe/car meeting in Forest row?

Keith! good to hear from you! hope you're well, has been a while. What are you driving these days?

The owner sold the cafe on to restore/run a classic routemaster London bus for events etc, although I thought the new owner was carrying on the meets but not sure (this may have died off will have to look into it) would be a shame if so as that was an event you were almost always guaranteed something really random and interesting would come out of the woodwork for.

We were actually in Forest Row last Sunday morning in the stang and went to drop in to the riverview cafe for a coffee but it was shut

    Hi John.

Shame the guy sold the cafe. He was so enthusiastic, it was infectious. Possibly to the detriment of the business side of running a cafe?
Always enjoyed that place, as it was a nice little run out (for me) and as you said, such an eclectic mix of cars.

I've still got my Cobra, although it's evolved a bit further on now (long story) but I've also got a C6 Corvette, as I wanted something I could actually use. lol

If you do find out any more about the cafe/meet, post on here. (it was your post that first introduced me to the place!)

Yeah real shame, It looks like the last mention of people talking about it was in December last year so the new owner kept up with the meets but no idea if it still happens.

C6 sounds NICE! bet that's fun.

Will post up here if i hear anything about it yeah, now I have the new toy would be good to come along at some point if it still happens.
