V55/5 - Filling it Without a Certificate of Conformity?

Imported a 2003 Cobra - all MoT sorted now waiting to register it:

on the V55/5 it mentions about a certificate of Conformity - which I don't have and reading on old post on here - no-one has had for these....

But! Where do all the other details come from? Looked online and got track width and engine CC, but no HC, weights (mass in service) or the like -

Anyone know where to find it?

    Cheers

    Dave

So doesnít need type approval or a CoC?

So I just make up the other bits? Or ignore them?

You fill in as much as you can if theres anything you can't dont. It confused me too but in the end I didnt even include my engine number because on my car things were in the way

Contacted Doovla they said leave it Blank

Most of the other stuff I just looked up my year and model of car and specs and filled those out

    Something like this

    http://www.mustangspecs.com/years/03cobra.shtml

Dont forget date of first registration/built in USA will be 1/1/2003 dont put anything else otherwise they will ask for extra evidence to prove it

Dont ask me why but all imports are either 1/1 or 31/12 we have two in our household the Mustang II is registered as 1/1/75 and the S197 as 31/12/06 put anything else in it cofuses their system

    Cheers Jolly-

Done a bit of that- date of manufacture Iíve got different as mine say 12/2003 but Iíve got the ref date as 1/1/03 so hopefully thatís good enough.

Hereís to hoping theyíll sort it soon!

You can't get a type approval (certificate of conformity) because it doesn't conform as it was never sold over here.

Whatever year is on your title put 01/01/that year.

If you have already filled it in then just download a new form from DVLA as the carbon ones have now been superseded.

    Cheers, Ron
